Established in 2018, BlaBlaCar Bus was born out of BlaBlaCar's acquisition of OUIBUS in November of that same year. The company officially launched in June 2019 and has since been offering long-distance bus services across Europe. Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane is the owner of Trenitalia, which serves as the main train operator in Italy. The high-speed Frecciarossa trains link Milan, Rome, Naples, Florence, and Turin at speeds of up to 300 km/h (186 mph). Frecciargento and Frecciabianca are two other high-speed services that operate at slightly slower rates but provide connectivity to smaller cities and towns. Trenitalia operates regional and intercity train, and provides international connections to neighboring countries through EuroCity trains.
